Oh, Jams, it’s a bugger isn’t it? I must admit that once I started thinking in terms of managing the beast rather than killing it, I’ve found my life somewhat easier. Mine seems indestructable but thankfully takes rest from savaging me before recouping its strength to varying degrees. This round has just involved much growling and a show of teeth. And hefty straining at the leash.
However, my friend, should you discover Black Dog Kryptonite or some other form of death dealing device, please let me know just as soon as you are able. x x
Oh thank you, sweetheart. It was more like darkish grey. I’ve felt much worse and much better and the crop of images gleaned from a walk today is a very good sign.
All little black doggies should just stay quietly in their doghouses and not drag their owners around! Very interesting image, especially in light of the back story.
Here’s hoping the Black dog can be banished for good. Wish I could banish mine…

Very interesting!
The picture? The title? The tags?
Is the blackness lifting Syncy? I hope so xxx

I am terribly sorry to hear that, S.E…
I hope that you feel much better very, very soon!
Thank you, SIG and I am feeling much better now. Nearly there.

Yes. Black dogs, get in your kennels and please stop barking!
A Black Doggie with a collar, so is he owned by “Death?”
Glad you’re feeling a bit better!
‘The Black Dog’ (deserving capitalization) is a metaphor for depression originally coined by Winston Churchill who apparently was on familiar terms.
And thank you, I am feeling better.
