Oh, thank you very much, Jams. There was plenty of rain about in the past week but I didn’t feel like going out in it this time. The black and white version is one of my favourites of my images so I thought I’d do another version.
Thank you, ehpem and welcome! This version is growing on me; I especially like the coppery colour around the mirror against that murky greenish colour of the background.
Sometimes … sometimes … I am still such spontaneous. Afterwards I do often feel ssooo guilty.
Even more serious: Sorry. Instead of writing what I wrote above, I should rather have put my head on my pillow.
Which in ten minutes will be done.
The peace of the night.
Nothing to be sorry for. I always enjoy your comments. . . whether I know what you’re talking about or not!
The peace of the night and sweet dreams to you.
Really wonderful image. I like that the mirror doesn’t really show anything… Once when Jim and I were out at Pt. Reyes at sundown, all the little sunflowers were facing the sun, and we were driving towards it. In front of us, the field was all green because we could only see the backs of the flowers. In the rear view mirror, the field was a sea of yellow and white flowers. I did not get a shot of this and regret it to this day.
Bravo!
Why, thank you, Claude.
Ha! Indeed!!
Thank you too, Tracy.
Great shot and a very nice take on the theme, syncy!

Not sure about the black and white, but I am sure that alone reading the title (twice) is a pleasure not only for the eyes in the front of my head.
Thank you, Sean, you have such a way with words, my dear.
I prefer the colour version. The mirror with its bright rain drops is perfect in this photo.

Hi. I’m new here; am loving your work. The colour in this one makes me feel the wall.
Cheers!
Hello, SGC. Thanks for dropping in and leaving a comment and also for pressing the ‘like’ button on several posts. I’m glad you like what you’ve seen.
HI, I’m slightly old here; am liking your work. And I like watching a troll run against several walls. Cheers. Kippis. Slàinte. Prost. Salute. …
I haven’t seen a troll for a long time, now. Have you, Sean?

Goodness. I’m wondering about your screen settings like contrast and brightness, Daisy Fae.

Well thank you for recording that image in your mind, it’s in mine too, now and what a beautiful image it is.
That sounds like what a think of as a ‘snapshot memory’. I have some very vivid memories that come to me like a still from a film.
Fabulous minimalistic and fun – a great combo, Ashley.
Thank you so much, Lynn. I rather like it too.
