Beautiful cloud photo.
Sorry i just can not see Santa in that cloud. I can see Alley Oop (the caveman) licking the whip cream off a crepe. By the way, at this time of year Santa is on a beach in Cuba, where he blends in with the Canadian tourists.Did you know that the one country that does not believe in Santa is North Korea ? They believe in an imaginary leader instead.
Ha ha, what a title! You do have a knack for naming them, don’t you? Uhm, I’m kinda with elmediat on this one, I also can’t for the life of me see Santa in the cloud…Damn.
Well, I do have fun naming my piccies, that’s for sure.
As for Santa. It’s just his head. And he’s had his beard trimmed (I guess because it’s hot in Cuba), but his huge moustache is very much in evidence. And one eye and his nose.
I can’t actually remember. To crop to my preferred 2:3 size I have to send my original shot to my old camera phone and then back again. They come back slightly altered – a bit de-saturated maybe a bit less contrasty or something. No technical whizz am I, that’s for sure!
I think I did do something to this one though, made it a tiny bit darker perhaps.
Oh I love looking at the sky! Such a glorious sight.
I’m not much interested in the beach at Bondi but it does mean there is a great expanse of sky just down the road. The air here is pretty good too.
Thank you Mrs. Daffodil. It was sunny and bright and clouds aplenty and I couldn’t see my screen properly so I just turned the exposure and light sensitivity right down and took multiple pot-shots to see what I might get. I sometimes like chance to play a big part.
I’m not seeing Santa either, but that is the beauty of clouds (and rocks, too). You can see what you want to see in them, the imagination goes wild. Great clouds, whoever is in there.
But come back next Christmas!
I think I’d rather he didn’t, Shaun.
creepy santa
If you say so!
Or if you see so!

The clouds on that day were amazing – all shapes and types and so many!
Alley Oop the caveman, Canadian tourists in Cuba, North Koreans don’t believe in Santa? All these things are news to me!

Uhm, right…Well, notwithstanding my incapability to see the old guy I think it’s an awesome cloud shot, did you tweak it, or is it au naturel?

He probably just wanted to look nice when he heard he had the honor of being the future subject of one of your photographs, S.E.!
Your imagination is very lively today, Robert.
Me neither. Santa Santa, come out come out where ever you are
Maybe it’s some other dude with a big white mo, then?
LOL, I love the comments! Great shot, of course… I’ve been collecting sky shots for a few years now… Love feeling drawn into them

It doesn’t feel creepy or Christmas-y to me. It feels lofty and grand. Well done.

Oh, and I deleted most of them.

Absolutely agree about the cloud/rock/inkblot effect, HMH.
Dont think Santa – features Nordic..More like Odin…Back to the Valhalla for you
Ha ha ha!
