I always keep my flowers way too long. I like watching them wilt and change. Gladiolus fade so beautifully, irises just turn into sodden lumps. roses also change beautifully as they die — sort of like people do, actually.
As you know I’m always a big fan of B/W, S.E…
but I really do like both color versions, too…
the second feels very ‘pristine’ to me and the overall yellow tone / lighting of the third implies something a bit mysterious in my mind…
🙂
I lke the black and white one very much
Thanks, Shaun, me too.
For me the second.
Thanks, Sean.
a little sad… but beautiful photos.
Thanks, Daisy Fae.
Unusual and lovely framing of your subject.
Thanks Mrs Daffodil. I thought I should try to capture them in a less traditional way.

I think I like the black and white one best.
The sharpness of that first shot is amazing!
Thank you, Anne. Sharpness can be elusive with a camera phone. 🙂
