It’s beautiful. Please tell us what this is, really. I have been thinking a lot about the fires in Australia and what they are telling us about global warming. But, surely, you are not out fighting fires?
It’s rust and paint on the metal cupboard under the laundry sink in the boarding house in which I unfortunately reside. More realistic shots of this later.
Now that loos ominous!
It’s my spirit!
What gets me over temporarily losing hope.
(And I don’t believe in hell or heaven for that matter. Except as they are found on Earth.)
I like your title, the inscrutable nature of the picture and also your comment to Shaun (particularly the part in parenthesis).
Thank you, John. I always look forward to your comments.
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!!
Why, thank you.

Thanks for that, SE. My best guess had been sunlight through a torn and grungy orange window shade. (Or else, your spirit).;-)
This is beautiful, Ashley. I like the idea that it is your spirit! : )
Thank you twice, Karen.
That flaky wall again?
Nice image, whatever it is.
Nah. Plenty of ‘flakiness’ around here.
And thank you, Andrew.
Great image, Ashley! Are we looking at a pipe of some kind?
Metal, rust and peeling paint. A cupboard under a sink.
Thanks, Richard.
Beautiful photo – I love the color! Great title too.
Thank you very much, Kevin.
I can’t get over how well this reads as fire to me, S.E…
especially when I focus my attention towards the bottom of the frame…
Ah, yes. The embers. Sometimes my fire does not blaze but the smouldering embers remain, ready to ignite a wee bit of fuel.
