    This shot has a very painterly feel about it… almost reminds me of a David Hockney piece, with that unique S.E. – twist!

    Have you seen Hiroshi Sugimoto’s work? I think you might enjoy his ocean photos (and his other work, too)…

      I’m not really a beach person but I love the expanse of sky and the air. And the rocks. I don’t like sand much and the last time I got in the sea, over a decade ago, I felt sticky when I got out. Yuk!

    This is absolutely spectacular. It is wonderful how much motion there is in this picture, just because of the shading of the sky. I keep finding myself up in the dark blue trying to pick out the young waxing crescent moon that HAS to be hidden there somewhere. . .
