Ha ha! It’s a cheapie that I found in an op shop. It’s starting to rip around where the straps meet the bag itself. Usually I would throw it away because of that but I’m sure it holds (ha!) some more surprises for me.

“Op shop” as in “opportunity shop”? I just looked that up; it’s a new one on me.

Some friends used to call my bag a “Sport Billy bag” because I seemed to be able to produce from it whatever anyone needed. A legacy of my camping/backpacking days!

Yes, that’s right: opportunity shop. A shop that sells (mostly) second hand things for charity.

Now I have to go and look up “Sport Billy bag”. I would have called your bag a “Mary Poppins bag” or a “Felix the Cat bag”. πŸ™‚

I had to ask about Sport Billy when I first heard it said of my bag. It seems he was a cartoon character with a magical bag of wonders. Frankly I’d have preferred a Mary Poppins association!

The last/first I saw Squiggles and Blob they were having/had lunch at Schrodinger’s Cafe. seems like like either yesterday or tomorrow. πŸ™‚

Visiting your archives across the international date line stepping forward in time and backwards into the past. I am temporally excited today, one of my early (first) time travelling heroes from the comics, Rip Hunter (a name like that shouts early 1960s), is coming to television. Arthur Darvill who is best known as Rory Williams in Doctor Who has just been cast as Rip Hunter. πŸ˜€
