I don’t know that song. . . unless it’s the same one that includes ‘I’m a lonely little Petunia in an onion patch’. I’d rather ‘Tiptoe through the Tulips’ and pop the leeks into a soup. 🙂
Your photo reminds me of a Canadian Stop motion film from the 1960’s. Starts with a man in his apartment who nurtures this little vine. It keeps growing and spreading troughout his apartment eventually spreading over the building.
I like the hard lines vs. the organic in this one…
and the colors (especially how the green shade in that mirror(?) ties in so well with both the greens of the plant and the grays of the room)!
Did you ever see John Belushi’s impression of Joe Cocker, S.E.?
I always thought it was great…
🙂
I like the idea of this image rather than my execution. I couldn’t resist posting it though – it was such a strange and pleasant surprise for me when I came across it.
That plant, she was heading straight for the light on the ceiling.
The block of green is a door to a cubicle.
No, I’ve never seen John Belushi’s impression of Joe Cocker! I can’t imagine it would have been very kind. I can sort of see it in my mind’s eye!
de-luxe !
😀
Great Photo – Great Title – Great Song.
3 Greats in 1.
A trifecta! Thank you, Lynn.
Biggest smile of the day so far! Thanks! 😀
That’s good to hear, Leslee; thank you.
joe cocker. all i ever want to do with my life is be one of his back up singers…. (sigh). and that’s a great pic!
I just love his raspy voice, his energy.
Now ther’s a B Movie horror film to be made! For spme reason tough the song “I sits among the cabbages and leeks” springs to mind!

Ha ha ha.
The photo is – by the way – more interesting, i.e.: better than the song.
Well, thank you, Sean but I can’t say I agree. I don’t much like the original Beatles’ version but I like this one very much.

That sounds like something I would like to see, Joseph. If not in real life then at least in this film. Do you remember what it was called?
I’m in process of tracking it down. I once had a video from the NFB that included it.
A treasure hunt!
Love it syncy!
Thanks, Nursie.
