An excellent place to watch the world go by, I’m sure!
It would be, actually, it’s very close to a lively intersection.
again, i’m seeing a face in the chair. maye i need more sleep…
I see it now you mention it.
I see the face too. I like the open gate too
It’s always open. In fact I don’t think there is a gate there.
The chair looks a bit wobbly too, Daisy. I dunno about going in that gate. Nice photo with a story line!
Love the title, one of my favourite movies!. Stephen had an artwork with that same title too :-)
I was unaware of both of these other places in the sun, Nursie, so I’m now very curious.
The light, stone and vegetation in this image almost remind me of that Italian villa in the second Godfather…
Molto bella, S.E.!
You know, I’ve never seen The Godfather movies. A big gap in my viewing. I must rectify that.
Everyone always says this…
but I preferred the first two (although it’s been quite a while since I’ve seen No. 3 – I should probably give it another chance)…
It suggest to me men in white suits & Panama hats sipping drinks under a ceiling fan with wicker blades. Mind you I also think the chair is wobbly because Harvey the pooka is sitting there waiting for Mr. Dobbs . :D
Harvey the big white rabbit? I haven’t seen that film in years. I’d like to see it again.
Ah yes, there we go, our favourite subject…chairs. Seriously, what’s up with this thing of ours? It’s so weird, I recently took one of basically the exact same chair, and even the composition’s very similar, the only real difference being the wall, which is my case is obviously much older & more decrepit – as everything is around these parts! Great shot, Ashley.
Thank you so much, Jean-Pierre. When I’d finished this one, it reminded me of you. I think this shows your influence on my unconscious! :)
