kind of cool, a little od but cool
A little odd. Yes. Thanks for dropping in and welcome, Jensine.
you are so welcome
How’d you twist yourself around like that from behind the camera?
Ha ha! One of the joys of a camera phone. 🙂
Looks like a detail from an oil painting. Nice one!
I thought so too. Thanks, Shaun.
what i like about your work is the eerie part, as if it draw from the mind of H P Lovecraft. thanks for sharing Nonoy Manga
Thank you, Nonoy Manga. Joseph (Elmediat) speaks of H P Lovecraft, I think it must be time I read some. 🙂
mysterious shot… i like the motion and tone…the whole image is working so well here
Thank you, Barbara, I value your opinion, liking your work as I do.
Thank you. 🙂
in the ‘spooky’ category…
I don’t find this one spooky. It makes me feel cozy.
Feels almost like it was shot on an underwater camera to me, S.E… I think a large part of that might be the colors.
In fact, now I almost think I can see a fish (or I did for a second, anyway)!
Not underwater, just my dimly lit room..
And a whole lot of manipulation.
That’s true despite the wordplay.
Must hand it to you – wonderfully atmospheric shot. 🙂
I too see a fish shape midst/mist the hands. Nonoy Manga is correct in that the image could be interpreted as suggestive of a HP Lovecraft tale. Lovecraft had a troubled childhood which produced some very conflicting beliefs. The emotional energy was poured into pulp-literary tales of cosmic-psychological horror. He really had family and personal issues that he expressed/symbolized by the watery depths and ancient forces.
‘watery depths and ancient forces’ – sounds good to me.
This has a great feel, very nice imagery.
Welcome, Ted West! Thank you, much appreciated.
