The context is almost abstracted here. Interesting composition.
Yes, I tried a more realistic/less contrasty version but I decided I liked this better. It’s a strange set up anyway: a few weeks ago there was a quite a storm in Bondi and one of the casualties was a brick wall above a shop which is behind all this now. The shops thus hidden while repairs are being carried out are having sales.
I love it!
i think we should should give something to the skeleton. at his condition he needs more than food, a new skin or flesh.perhaps. Cheers Nonoy Manga
I wonder what she/he is praying for.
Please buy something…
Ha ha! Aha! So the skeleton is a shop keeper! Ha ha ha!
he used to be, no food to eat he died…cruel world.
A Turkish man told me yesterday that life is like tea drunk with a piece of sugar held in the cheek. Bitter with moments of sweetness.
fella is gonna need more than 50%!
Maybe not, I believe the needs of a skeleton are very slim.
I really like the contrast between the low-key /brightly lit foreground and background, too… S.E… and the way you’ve framed those nearly symmetrical distant lights (?) in a way that pull my eye in towards the center even more…
They are lights, Robert, in the shop behind the sign which is hanging from some scaffolding which is covered first with some thick meshlike stuff.
I like the composition, it’s a bit odd.
That skeleton has taken a bit more than 50% off by looks of it!
Do you remember that fabulous Robbie Williams film clip where he shed his clothes, then this skin, then his viscera etc?
