I used to ‘have’ a pet rat. She was very sweet. Intelligent and affectionate. She used to hop on my shoulder and lick my neck. My nephews ‘have’ two. I’ve always loved their hands, they hold their food in them and nibble at it. 🙂
I called the paw a hand because I think it looks like one and also because animals other than us are not really so different to we humans and I wish more people would see that. 🙂
beautiful. perfect title.
Oh, thank you. I think it’s beautiful too but I wasn’t expecting anyone else to find it so.
Wow. Stunning shot. So much to ponder if one tries.
Thanks, Andrew. I wonder how it died. Rat poison is so cruel, unless I’m mistaken, it causes them great pain.
Fantastic shot.
Thanks very much, Rabirius.
Oh, that hand!
So delicate, isn’t it?
A sad image Syncy
Yes.
Interesting…
the hand is the first thing I noticed, too (even before I read your title)…
If I had somehere suitable to put this little creature, I would. I’d like to record the decomposition process and keep at least the skull.
That hand is so sweet, somehow. I think it’s beautiful, too.
