Thank you, John. I like your comments: apart from their being complimentary you give me excellent pointers as to what to look for regarding skill in execution. 🙂
My first apartment was in a converted railroad freighthouse… it had a very low-pitched roof with a huge overhang… pigeons absolutely loved it… they were everywhere, putting on quite a show…
🙂
Wonderful shots. Today one of our cats caught a bird. This was quite tricky, since the cats are inside. WE assume that while they were in the enclosed veranda, a bird either made its way in under a crack at the base of the wall or a quick paw managed to draw the birdy in. Liz wondered about some loose feathers, then one of the cats dropped a present at her feet by her computer. The bird did not reboot.
It’s quite alarming when one’s cats do that, isn’t it? A bit icky to see but well, that’s just a part of nature. And then it’s rather sweet how cats bring their booty to their human friends.
I like Requiem. Abundant detail in the low notes.

Oh, dear. Not that I’m particularly fond of pigeons, but that’s another story. Another well told story, SE.
Thank you, Mrs Daffodil. 🙂
Oh snaps!
Do you mean you have some pictures of pigeons, too, SC?
Oh no. Just like your presentation,
Ah, thank you. I’m in Australia so I don’t always understand colloquial American. Here if you say “Snap” it means “me too”. 🙂

I know they’re not the most popular birds, but I like their burbling cooing sounds.
That sounds like a cool place to live, Robert. 🙂
