Thanks, Ken. This is from the same day as ‘Shining in the Rain’. I hadn’t been into the city for a long time because there’s always the possibility that my anxiety will take hold big time when I’m in a crowd. I was meeting a friend, so that made it easier. I think having new things to look at did me good, And people in the city walk right in front of you when you’re taking pictures so I have no guilty pangs about including them in my images. Not that you can see them in these two!
I even got on a train for the first time in a couple of years!

Oh, wow. I envy you your ability to see this shot. The whole thing is exciting, dynamic, a bit unsettling. Just great.

A lot of my work is a bit unsettling. 🙂
I just stood in front of that door and snapped away as people walked past until I had something I liked. Then a little fiddling about with apps. Nearly every image I make involves some fiddling. It’s a part of my part process that I really enjoy.

I often dream that I’m lost in a building and cannot find the Exit. I get really panicky. And that photo is so much like what I’m searching in my dream. Maybe now I’ll feel better knowing you will help. Thanks, Ashley.

    Do not exit block.
    Cut corners knot.
Watch for falling egresses on the way out.
    When outside of box, think.
    – A proverbial Yoda poem. 🙂
