Bat Wing (2014) Ashley Lily Scarlett
Beautiful composition and somewhat macabre.
I find the wing itself rather beautiful. I’d never seen one before. I love it that at age 54 there are still new sights and experiences to be had.
I was sure I commented on this before, describing it as fascinating. Maybe your software is calling me spam now in retaliation for what mine often does to you? Anyway, it’s fascinating, and a new sight for me too.
I’m on my phone at the moment but I’ll check the spam folder later.
Seeing that wing made me wonder why I’d not seen a dead bat, or parts thereof, before.
There are plenty of them in Sydney, sometimes you can see flocks (what’s the collective noun for a bunch of bats?) flying overhead. I wonder where they go to die.
Yep, it was in the spam. You were in the spam on the other blog, too. Too weird. I’ve known this to happen on WordPress before but not for a long time. . .
Yes, indeed! That claw looks so fearsome but it’s used for climbing and hanging upside down from. It’s the wing of a fruit bat.
