Thank you, Daniel! I have to say that I’m rather pleased with this one, which is more than I can say for most of my recent work! I’ve been looking at my things and going ‘yeah, so what’ and I’d rather be looking at them and going ‘ok, fine’.

Das Fegefeuer. I find it is an Impressive image, altmeisterlich, with very interesting moulding grey ; carrying all that heavy, Catholic, Northern load of a soul to be purifyied from inherent guilt.

I’m glad I’m not burdened with the belief of such a thing, nor of heaven or hell, except as places and situations in the mundane world. If it truly did exist, I can’t imagine a single human being would be spared from spending some time there.

“I’m not burdened with the belief of such a thing”

Indeed, good to see that you are spared it. I know some people who had to fight with “guilt”, fear and what they call “Erbsünde” for a big part of their lives. As if it wouldn’t be complicated enough !

    It’s a geat photo…

but if you have a soul I think you can be reassured that it won’t look like your face… in fact it probably won’t look like anything… (whatever the word does mean)…

I went off to fight some souls in one of my futile quests but it proved even more futile than most, obviously

What do you think?
