I wouldn’t have thought that something could be makeshift and elegant at the same time, but this is. The austere tones of grey, the mismatched yet simple wall and the perfect leaves. Very nice!
The type of tree is one of my favourites but I can’t remember the name. The leaves are yellow-green and the sun shines through them and the branches sway. There’s a Hyde Park in Sydney in which there is a ‘corridor’ of large ones of these that create a canopy. I have a picture memory of walking through there, the light all dappled and dancing on the ground, the breeze just slight but blowing down the leaves. Just beautiful.
Lovely lines contrast so nicely with the leaves.
Yes, the leaves are so pretty. Thank you, Ellen. x o x
I really like the tones in this – the leaves look otherworldly.
Oh, thank you, Richard. I’ve been working on improving my black and whites. 🙂

Oh, you’ve described it so well, I can almost picture you there, walking through the dappled light.
It’s so beautiful there, Mrs Daffodil. I thought it would be a wonderful place for someone to have a wedding in. (Not me! 🙂 )
always love
the texture

It makes a nightmare roofing material though. 🙂
