How in the world did you compose this image? Wow – science fiction?
Two images merged. One of the plastic spoon on the pavement and one of my friend’s hand.
Woah………. that looks in-fucking-credible. Wow o.O
Big smile over here! Thanks, very much, Jordan, and welcome! 🙂
Thanks for the welcome 🙂 I’m sure its obvious but I have NO CLUE how to do art digitally – all sketching and whatnot for me – what program did you make this is? Photoshop?
Well, I can’t draw! I use the camera in my phone (it’s a good one with high resolution, a Nokia 1020) and edit everything in my phone, with apps.
I have a kind of toy Photoshop app that I use a lot for various adjustments but it’s not the only one I use. For this one I used an app that I’ve only just got. It has a merge function so this is actually two images, one sitting on top of the other. One is of the spoon on the pavement and the other is of a friend’s hand.
I’m quite excited with this merge function and I’ve been experimenting a lot – lots of horrid things coming out and a few I really like. It will take a while to get used to it, but I do so enjoy experimenting. 🙂
Wow, so you did this all on a phone??
Damn, some of these apps are freaking incredible. I’m old-school, I only -just- got a touchscreen phone
Yes, I did. My smart phone is my one big luxury. I need it to do my art! I don’t have a camera other than that one. 🙂
Your hand is perhaps a tool but your finger like a Magic wand …!!!
This is lovely. I really like the softness – suitably dreamlike.
Thanks, Richard, I’m still playing with the merge thing I’ve recently discovered. 🙂
This is a tremendous composition – full of metaphor & symbolism, it would work beautifully on the cover of a book to attract the serious literary crowd. 🙂
Oh, thank you, Joseph. I’d love to have one of my images as a book cover. 🙂
wow, that’s impressing. Great image!.
Thank you, Markus, and welcome. 🙂
That’s very good to hear, thank you, Andrew.
