Between Scarlett and Guest (My Side of the Story 24th November – 30th December 2015)
Richard Guest and I have a blog called Between Scarlett and Guest.
It’s a conversation in images.
We each reply to the last image the other has posted.
What follows (in no particular order because I’ve set the gallery to a random display) are my responses from 24th November – 30th December 2015 .
Very cool portfolio.
Thank you, Barry. I might get around to doing a real portfolio sometime.
I’m having trouble getting going lately. Hence the silence on strata of the self.
I’ll get back to that eventually.
That doll.. creeeeeepy… I love it!
I have a row of baby doll heads on top of my kitchen cupboards. None of them look much like babies to me. And therein lies part of why I like them. 🙂
This photo dialogue is so dreamlike, almost like Stephen Poliakoff’s BBC series Shooting the Past, where connections between archived photographs had to be worked at from their details in order to form a narrative.* And your photos, they’re all such wonderful, individual images.

What a lovely compliment, Chris. Thank you so much.
Love these round-ups – interesting how well it works with just your images.
Thanks, Rixhard. I think some batches look better than others.
They look so cool together like that! Lovely 🙂
Thanks, Lucy. I should have my first Around the World in 80 Books ready soon. 🙂
Exciting! Very much looking forward to it 😀
Beautiful work (as always).
Thank you, Malin. I’m still really enjoying collaborating with Richard. 🙂
