Great 60s pop art colour aesthetic.
The first vegan butcher opened shop in America.
I have trouble making up my mind about the vegan view. First Nations attitude to the environment and all living things seems more acceptable – difficult to be a vegan in the dead of a Canadian winter. 🙂
I used Ursula Le Guin’s short story about linguistics “The Author of the Acacia Seeds And Other Extracts from the Journal of the Association of Therolinguistics” with my students to shake things up – both their definitions of what is a short story and their expectations about the nature of communication and sentience. 😀
I feel certain this café is wonderful, look at that pink, and the dishes making friends with the eyeglasses – I can’t say more. What a nice feeling.
It was very nice. 🙂
Stunning! So beautiful – wonderful composition and colour. Just ace!
Thank you, Richard! I’m very pleased with this one. Hooray! I haven’t had that good feeling for a while. 🙂
Retro, nostalgic; but with a sleek new feel. What IS that liquid in the cup?
That there is my long black espresso coffee. Yum!

I’m just a newbie vegan We’ll see how I go.
Wonderful colours. Myself, I can’t imagine a life without cheese…..
I’m not missing cheese as much as I thought I would. Still, it’s only been a few weeks!
I love this – really cool! The gingham dress, sunnies, and pink cup and saucer remind me of the 60s 🙂
Thanks, Meanderer. I thought it looked vintage too.
Compelling image, with the right kind of nostalgia.
Thank you, John. I really like this one. 🙂
