One (2016)Ashley Lily Scarlett
Is this poor chair looking for a new home? Outdated and unwanted? I am feeling for it. Really, I do find this picture sad…even though I admit the chair is not attracting me to take it home, either. I’m so tangled up. Really, I just want t0 say, this is a good photo that made me concoct a whole story around it.
Chairs and other seating are one of my favourite things to photograph, (I can’t bring myself to say ‘shoot’), especially those left outdoors. After much thought I realised I liked them so much because they reminded me of people.
. . . is the loneliest number.
Funny you should say that – I was going to link to film clips for that song and also Lene Lovich’s Lucky Number. I think it depends in perspective or mood or circumstance or whatever whether ‘one’ is nice or not. 🙂
Yes. 🙂 I love that film!
Me too – brilliant – even though Tom Cruise is in it. 😉
Snap! I love chairs.
Well done. Taking a stand on chairs requires skill and daring. We were not let down by his composition. 🙂
Two. . .
Eleventy hundred and four . . .
Oh damn it. I was hoping you would respond with ‘two’ and then we would go from there. (And then I would spam your post with a whole bunch of number responses.) Oh well, some other time. 😉 😛
