It’s on a shelf of a small display thingy. The detail is amazing, isn’t it? I found this one in an op shop. Subsequently I found a toy shop (when I was in England, actually) that stocks this brand, the name of which I can’t remember. I now have a wolf and a tiger too. They’re not cheap but I just love them with all that detail.

I’ve been vegetarian for about 35 years and eating vegan since the beginning of this year. I tried last year but thought I couldn’t do without cheese, yoghurt, and chocolate. I kept on watching graphic videos of cruelty to animals in the hope that I would see them in my mind’s eye whenever I saw dairy products in the supermarket. It worked. There have been unexpected gains from this move to veganism. I’m in the process of ridding myself of inedible animal products too. Goodbye leather, etc. This will take some time as I need to source cruelty free and vegan products – easier than it used to be but the number of things that contain animal products is astounding. Ugh!
Unexpected!
I have the Rudolph that you sent me on permanent display too. π
This seems so weird because I can’t work out the context (and why so much attention on the nipples?).

Is the company Schleich? We have a leopard with amazing detail from them, including the pads on its paws!
I think that’s it! Wonderful, aren’t they?
Yes, indeed!
Fascinating how it is emerging from/fading into the texture of the wall.
Excellent processing.
Thanks, Joseph. I’m enjoying that look at the moment – that and experiments with colour.
Yes I also like the post edit work…and pigs are cute too βΊοΈ
Yes, they are cute and I haven’t eaten any of them for over thirty years. π
ahhhhh I can’t say the same as I did try black pork in Portugal…
π
Love it!! Don’t eat them either except have cheated a few times when husband buys a BLTS, much to my shame. Congrats on you!!
