BTW We had a bear in our screened in veranda. It was not fuzzy looking through the sliding class doors into the kitchen. 😀
A bear?! I saw a bear attack in The Revenant. Fearsome!
We have black bears. They are not as big as mountain grizzlies. Here is a recent news item from Sudbury. The city is about 2 hrs East of our community.

So are they dangerous, the black bears? They’re beautiful.
Oh yes. Don’t get between a mother and a cub. They are wild and if cornered they will defend themselves.
