Thanks, Claudia. These trees are amazing (I rarely use that word). Some of the aerial roots grow into the trunk plus they have huge buttress roots to stop them falling over.
It’s taken me a very long time to appreciate the beauty of the sub-tropical flora in Sydney. I still miss the trees and flowers of England. Some of the plants here are spectacular but also kind of garish.
