That’s painful – I used to work with a schizophrenic woman who was almost illiterate. She would write a few phrases, something like this but usually religious, over and over, in a similar hand. It calmed her. Great photo!

I wouldn’t be surprised at all if this was written by someone with schizophrenia. A few nights ago I could hear someone shouting ‘No worry’ over and over too. I think the young man who lives next door to me has it too. He has messages coming to him from ‘the satellite’ and he kicked in his television because that was sending him messages too. I feel for him. He’s very sweet and apologises for the shouting. It must be very scary for him.

Either someone tried to throw their worries away or they lost them and are now worrying about where they went. I hope they are OK – will try not to worry, too much.

A first step towards self-help, perhaps; and I, at least, eventually discovered that self-help is about the only help that actually works. The day I finally confronted the fact that nobody was going to help me except myself, was the day the crack of sunshine glimmered, and grew. (And hello again).
